About Me......
This website is for students and teachers who would like to know more about art and how to embed and explore the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals for 2030 through artistic practice. It is filled with my adventures in teaching the SDG's (Sustainable Development Goals) and Good Life Goals through art to primary school students (ages 5 to 12yrs old).

Originally from the gorgeous northern beaches in Sydney, Australia I have been teaching primary school students for the last 14 years. My international teaching career has taken me to London-UK, Mwanza-Tanzania, Jakarta- Indonesia, Shanghai-China, Rome-Italy, back to Shanghai-China and now I find myself incredibly lucky to have been able move countries in the middle of a pandemic and I am currently finding my feet in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

After studying film-making in Australia and at the University of Colorado at Boulder, USA I dreamed of becoming a documentary filmmaker. However, I found myself bouncing from one job and travel adventure to the next until one day I stumbled into the classroom. My dear friend and teacher, Christine Beffa invited me to visit her classroom and that’s when I had the ‘a ha’ moment and thought to myself, 'this teaching gig seems like a lot of fun'. Fast forward a Master's degree in teaching and 14 years later and I continue to be passionate about helping others. My creative inspiration for art, dance and all things beautiful came from my own high school art and dance teacher, the highly talented artist Dee Wauchop, to whom I am so very grateful.
When I am not teaching you will find me out on my bicycle exploring new places, weight lifting, baking, taking photos and dreaming of owning a Tiny Home with my Swedish husband and IB Economics Guru, Matt McGee.
